Slightly Big…

The product photo looks like a pre-school aged girl. So, I bought these gloves for my 3.5 yr old (mind you, she is taller than most boys her age). Upon trying them on, they seem like they would fit a 5-7 year old better. I washed the gloves in hot water & threw them in the dryer so they would shrink. I will say they held up very well. I’ll try to post a photo above in the near future. She was very pleased with them and will get some good use out of them.

Very poor quality! Don’t waste your money.

I purchased these gloves for my 3 year old grandaughter, who wanted princess gloves. When we opened them and she tried them on , both gloves immediately got runs in them, and there were pulls on the fingers. The size is also quite large for her. Overall, very disappointing, and not at all what the other reviews state.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for

These gloves were well-priced, but you get what you pay for. The seam on one of the gloves had a small hole in it, which can be fixed, but more disappointing was the dirt on the fabric when I first opened the package. They are for my daughter’s dress up, so I’m not too upset, but was just diappointed.

Fun for a little princess

I bought this for my granddaughter’s third birthday and had it shipped to their house as I was traveling to see them.

Durability: The box was dented on one corner and the trunk inside was in worse shape than the box and had to be taped back together before it could be used. I knew the trunk was cardboard, but a toy for a child this age should be a little sturdier. The clothes and the accessories inside the box were fine and my granddaughter loved them.

Size: She is big for her age and wears a size 4T-5T and the Princess outfits fit her.

Independent play: The tops open all the way down the back and fasten with hook and loop so she can slip them on, but she can’t fasten the hook and loop behind her. The skirts are simple elastic waist pull ons and she can change those to heart’s desire without help. The little earrings and necklaces also require help, but she really liked them. The shoes seemed very big in relation to the clothing, but she had no trouble walking around in them.

Fun Factor: Five stars! She loved it and played Princess the whole week I was there. She put her other dress up clothes in the trunk and carried them all over the house. Unfortunately, I don’t know if the trunk will be able to stand up to that for very long.

Value: Despite my misgivings about the trunk, I think this was well worth the $40+ that I paid for it. The trunk contains three tops and skirts, plus earrings, hair ribbons, tiara, necklaces and shoes.

I would recommend it to a friend.

Cute costumes for little kids

We have little kids (under 4) and this was a great find because in one purchase we have costumes for all of them. The quality could be better, but it isn’t surprising for a costume product. Think typical Halloween costume material when you are considering this purchase. They are a little on the small side, so if your kids are not, you might want to get something else. Overall, I would recommend this product if you’re shopping for kids who love to dress-up. Shop around though, because you can get this much cheaper elsewhere.

Good buy, but be aware…

I bought this for my friends daughter for her 3rd birthday.

I paid Amazon to wrap the gift.. my mistake. When she unwrapped it we discovered they taped the paper directly onto the decorative trunk, which ripped it up. :[ VERY disappointing!

She's an averaged sized 3 year old, and the sizing of the tops & headbands were very inconsistent... Two of the tops fit her perfect, and two we could not velcro the back! We had the same issue with the headbands, one falls off her head it's so big, and the other is perfect... [we remedied this by making a little slipknot in the elastic to tighten it.]

All that being said, she LOVED it!!! Her along with my daughters played with it for hours and hours!

My four year old loves it

We bought this costume for my four year old daughter and she loves it. She is a tomboy and very rough on things so I was worried because the claws look kind of flimsy. They held up to lots of slashes against walls,trees, poles, cement and brother. It has held up quite well and looks adorable. Cons are that she doesn’t see that well out of the mask and the x-men buckle comes off the costume easily as it is attached just with velcro.

This Wolverine costume is very well-made. I was surprised at how durable it is, especially the mask. The claws are very cheap plastic and may not make it through Halloween night, but overall the costume is great.

The suit part of the costume was the size for a 5 year-old, but the mask size was for for a 2 year old. (miss matched).
I think the seller missed up the sizes.

The movie is an adaption of the book The Frog Princess, which was loosely based on the Grimm brother’s tale “The Frog Prince.” Princess Tiana starts out as just an usual girl, working to one day own her own restaurant. While at a costume party dressed as a princess, she is mistaken for one by the frog prince. Thus the adventurous tale begins!

This movie offers outstanding costumes for kids to dress up in. While a good deal of of the Disney princesses are dressed in pale pink and blues, Princess Tiana looks more like Tinkerbelle in a pale earthy green. This brings a whole new color into the princess clothes!

Although Princess Tiana spends the majority of the movie in the form of a frog, she wears a pale blue dress to the ball (think Cinderella). At the end of the movie, when Tiana becomes a unfeigned princess, she wears a strapless pale green gown with a full poofy skirt.
