Very funny, but poor quality

I like this pacifier a lot. In fact, I have purchased many of them. They all get great laughs, and my baby just loves the attention he gets. However, I find that when he sucks on them too long, (and so far, all of them are the same in this way) saliva builds up inside the nipple part. I find myself boiling them and letting them dry pretty frequently, just to be safe.

The laughs you get with your baby sucking on this in public is hilarious! I have been stopped many times and told that we have made someone’s day from the laughs they get from seeing my baby chewing on this. It’s halarious! Not to mention it’s just a regular pacifer and my child enjoys it for that aspect as well.

It is very heavy for a pacifier, but it gets a lot of attention when I let my daughter use it, which was the point. It’s not the style pacifier she’s used to but she doesn’t seem to mind using it, but she doesn’t prefer it over the avent paci.

The perfect sun hat!

This hat is a must have for any one who wants to shade their little one’s head and neck. I bought this after the back of my son’s neck got a little pink at the park. I felt awful because I just hadn’t thought of it!
My son now wears this when we will be in the sun. I got several colors in both large and extra large, because his head was 19″ and I wasn’t sure how they would fit. The large fits great, with a little room to spare. (The size chart on the manufacturers website is right on.) I have washed the navy hat, and it came out fine. No fading or damage. The hat seems robust.
Also, it crushes well so I fold it in half and shove it in the diaper bag or stroller. When we need it, I just remove, unfold, and plop on his head. Looks fine – Not perfect, but acceptable. (And yes, I’m the kind of mom that cares if her son’s hat is wrinkled… I’ll admit it.) The front visor could be longer, but only if they reinforced it as to not flop down – which wouldn’t make it so easy to pack. So, I prefer it “as is.” Highly recommend!

Fun for a little princess

I bought this for my granddaughter’s third birthday and had it shipped to their house as I was traveling to see them.

Durability: The box was dented on one corner and the trunk inside was in worse shape than the box and had to be taped back together before it could be used. I knew the trunk was cardboard, but a toy for a child this age should be a little sturdier. The clothes and the accessories inside the box were fine and my granddaughter loved them.

Size: She is big for her age and wears a size 4T-5T and the Princess outfits fit her.

Independent play: The tops open all the way down the back and fasten with hook and loop so she can slip them on, but she can’t fasten the hook and loop behind her. The skirts are simple elastic waist pull ons and she can change those to heart’s desire without help. The little earrings and necklaces also require help, but she really liked them. The shoes seemed very big in relation to the clothing, but she had no trouble walking around in them.

Fun Factor: Five stars! She loved it and played Princess the whole week I was there. She put her other dress up clothes in the trunk and carried them all over the house. Unfortunately, I don’t know if the trunk will be able to stand up to that for very long.

Value: Despite my misgivings about the trunk, I think this was well worth the $40+ that I paid for it. The trunk contains three tops and skirts, plus earrings, hair ribbons, tiara, necklaces and shoes.

I would recommend it to a friend.

Cute costumes for little kids

We have little kids (under 4) and this was a great find because in one purchase we have costumes for all of them. The quality could be better, but it isn’t surprising for a costume product. Think typical Halloween costume material when you are considering this purchase. They are a little on the small side, so if your kids are not, you might want to get something else. Overall, I would recommend this product if you’re shopping for kids who love to dress-up. Shop around though, because you can get this much cheaper elsewhere.

Good buy, but be aware…

I bought this for my friends daughter for her 3rd birthday.

I paid Amazon to wrap the gift.. my mistake. When she unwrapped it we discovered they taped the paper directly onto the decorative trunk, which ripped it up. :[ VERY disappointing!

She's an averaged sized 3 year old, and the sizing of the tops & headbands were very inconsistent... Two of the tops fit her perfect, and two we could not velcro the back! We had the same issue with the headbands, one falls off her head it's so big, and the other is perfect... [we remedied this by making a little slipknot in the elastic to tighten it.]

All that being said, she LOVED it!!! Her along with my daughters played with it for hours and hours!

Wear your hair in rollers, put on a green facial mask or green face paint, wear pajamas, black socks, ratty slippers and a dirty bathrobe tied cock-eyed. Put a TV Guide and a remote in your pocket, carry a crusty spatula, optional cigarette hanging out of mouth, use brown eye shadow beneath your eyes to make bags.

Apply base make-up all over face and neck. “Scrunch” up your face initial to emphasize your “natural” wrinkles, and apply make-up that is lighter than your natural skin-tone (work on a little a great a time for best results). Then “de-scrunch” and fill in the creases using a soft brown eye-liner pencil. Create sunken cheeks by darkening the cheek hollows. Emphasize the creases around your nose, and darken along your jaw line. Create crows feet by your eyes. Pucker up your lips to give rise to wrinkles around your mouth. Add liver spots, broken capillaries, etc. Blend everything with a make-up sponge. If you use make-up with a little amount of yellow added, you’ll get a more realistic look. Use the same proficiencies on your hands for more realism. When you are all done, power allover with baby powder to set make-up and give a arid skin appearance. You may also use baby powder to make your hair look gray.
